What I love about USC Annenberg goes beyond just the classes. The possibilities and experiences offered through guest speakers, learning from professionals, and internship opportunities are unmatched. But my favorite part of being a Annenberg student is the camaraderie among students and professors. Since the first day of my freshman year, I have felt love and compassion from the Annenberg community.

Annenberg's location at the heart of campus is representative of its role as a center through which the school’ss lifeblood flows, a place where students across all backgrounds, majors and perspectives can gather to collaborate and exchange ideas. With its fast-paced, dynamic curriculum, innovative media center and bustling atmosphere, you’re truly in the middle of everything at Annenberg—which, as a journalism major, is my favorite place to be.

I've found myself completely enthralled with what resources and endless opportunities I have at the tip of my fingers as an Annenberg student. Though a late comer into Annenberg's journalism program, I immediately felt welcomed by professors and faculty as well as motivated to match my peers' success inside and outside of the classroom. Annenberg really works to accelerate students' academic/professional achievements and encompasses the diversity and innovation required for such a progressive environment.

For me, Annenberg has been all about access—to opportunities, to people, and to experiences I never would have found on my own. I’ve gained real, hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom, and the connections I’ve made here have helped me navigate my career in ways I didn’t expect. It’s not just about what you learn—it’s about actually applying it and having people who support you along the way. That’s why I chose Annenberg.

As a South-Asian Sikh woman, USC Annenberg has given me opportunities that I never would have dreamed to be possible. I am continuously amazed to see the ways in which my peers and I are able to get involved and make an impact on the USC community through Annenberg's various resources. My passions and interests are constantly reinforced by the students and faculty's encouragement.
